At ADAD (Association for the Defense of the Environment and Development), we are dedicated to protecting and restoring Cabo Verde’s unique coastal ecosystems. From our beaches and mangroves to coral reefs and fisheries, we work alongside local communities, scientists, and international partners to promote sustainable development and environmental education.

The promotion of a healthy environment and the awareness of populations to environmental problems both in land and maritime space, as well as the realization of actions aimed at contributing to the development of the country, in particular with regard to combating poverty, desertification and social exclusion
